United Nations Industrial Development Organization (UNIDO) has extended assistance to the Government of India for carrying out a project entitled “Promoting Ultralow Head Micro Hydro Power Technology to increase access to renewable energy for productive uses in rural areas.

As a sequel to this project UNIDO is organizing three workshops on awareness building on the opportunities for public private partnership (PPP) in ULH-MHP technologies on replicable model and by also providing a platform to potential manufacturers, developers and academic institutions worldwide to demonstrate their products and work related to innovative micro-hydro technology development in context to Indian conditions.
